On the Light of Truth

He who walks in the light of Alaha shall not stumble, for the path illumined by the light of heaven leads not into confusion, nor into the pit of destruction. The light which is within him does not arise from his own soul, nor is it the invention of men, nor does it flicker like the fading lamps of the world. Rather, it is the holy light of the Rukha d’Kudsha sent forth as a radiant flame from before the throne of glory, where Alaha the Most High sits enthroned above the cherubim. This light is given by grace, not earned by flesh. It is a divine fire that enlightens the inward parts and purifies the secret chambers of the heart.

The one who walks in this light walks with discernment and uprightness. He sees clearly the snares laid by the sons of deceit. He discerns the path of peace and turns aside from the way of the violent. His feet do not falter, for he is guided by that which is unchanging. The light of the Rukha d’Kudsha does not wax and wane like the moon, nor is it overcome by the shadow of night. It is the same light that hovered over the face of the waters at the beginning, when Alaha said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.

The sons of darkness and their evil priestly one do not abide in this light. They shrink from it as the unclean beast flees from the sound of the shofar. They cover themselves with the garments of deceit, for their deeds are the works of the lie. They have taken refuge in the counsel of Belial and have given their hearts to falsehood. They love the covering of night, because their works are evil. When the light of truth shines upon them, they gnash their teeth, for their shame is exposed, and they can no longer pretend. They call evil good and good evil. They make crooked what Alaha has made straight. Therefore, their end shall be with the perishing.

But the sons of righteousness, those who are of the Qadisha, the holy assembly, they embrace the light with rejoicing. They do not resist it. They do not hide from it. They open their hearts to it as the lily opens to the sun. For in the light of the Rukha d’Kudsha, they behold the countenance of Yeshua Mshikha, the Anointed One of Alaha, the radiance of the Father’s glory and the exact imprint of His being. They behold Him not with the eyes of flesh alone, but with the inner eye, the eye of faith, purified by obedience and love. In His light they see light. In His face they see the mercy of Alaha. In His wounds they see their healing. In His words they find life. But remember, beloved, that the sons of righteousness are not without suffering in this world, for the light they bear provokes the hatred of the wicked. Yet they endure with patience, for their hope is anchored beyond the veil. They do not turn aside, though the road is narrow and filled with trials. They follow the Lamb wherever He goes. They drink from the cup He drank. They share in His sufferings that they may also share in His glory. And the light within them grows brighter, like the morning sun rising unto noonday. For they are being conformed to His likeness, from glory to glory, by the working of the Rukha d’Kudsha.

Therefore, beloved, walk in the light, as He is in the light. Let no darkness remain in you. Depart from the counsel of the wicked. Be not unequally yoked with those who hate the truth. Cleanse your hands and purify your hearts, you who hope in the Name of Yeshua. Let your lamps be trimmed and burning, for the Bridegroom comes. Blessed are those who are awake, clothed in white, whose names are written in the Scroll of Life.

Let the sons of righteousness lift up their voices, and let the daughters of light rejoice. For the light of Alaha has dawned upon us, and the darkness shall not overcome it.
