Shrines & Pilgrimages

This area is currently being updated. The Assembly maintains various holy places and shrines for members to make pilgrimages when they are capable of travel. In addition to these, the Assembly considers the following locations to be holy or sacred and worthy of pilgrimage by the faithful:

• Mount Sinai
• Rekem Kadesh ("Petra", "Al Batra"), Jordan
• The Kotel ("Wailing Wall") in Jerusalem
• The Temple Mount (currently off limits due to Muslim control)
• Tomb of Ezra (External link)
• Mount Gethsemane
• Sea of Galilee
• Qumran
• Cave of the Patriarchs (Hebron, Visit site: Hebrew, English)
• Roza Bal (Khanyar district, Srinagar, Kashmir, India)

Various communities within the Assembly have local sites that are considered sacred but are not included here at this time.
